Method Description
Plant Pathogen Test: Pan-Pythium testing detects multiple Pythium species that cause damping-off disease and root rot, particularly devastating in hydroponic systems and high-moisture growing conditions. These water molds can quickly destroy root systems and spread rapidly through irrigation systems. Testing is critical for growers using soilless growing methods because Pythium can cause sudden plant collapse and contaminate entire hydroponic systems.
