Method Description
This large sample dual-detection method uses 375g samples to increase detection sensitivity for coliforms and E. coli up to 1,500 CFU/g. The larger sample size is important for products where contamination may be unevenly distributed or present at very low levels that could be missed with smaller samples. This enhanced sensitivity testing is critical for high-risk products where even minimal contamination poses significant safety concerns.
